01

Define the new-stock description

Request production information, registration status, current distance reading and any disclosed prior use. Keep these facts separate. A low odometer reading does not by itself establish unregistered status, and a recent listing date does not show when the car was built or how it has been stored.

The new and used comparison explains the broader evidence routes. Earlier versions can be considered where an actual offer exists, but a general year range should not imply that all historical configurations remain available new. Record the selected vehicle before discussing its final preparation and release condition.

The demonstrator and unused-stock comparison compares storage checks with supported demo use before preparation and amount are aligned.

02

Ask what happened during storage

Obtain the known storage timeline and relevant preparation records. Ask whether the vehicle moved between facilities or received work after an earlier inspection. A checklist completed for another proposed sale may not describe the condition after additional standing time, transport or accessory installation.

Have the responsible qualified provider determine the appropriate checks for the identified vehicle. Do not impose a universal battery-replacement age or an invented storage procedure. The buyer needs the actual assessment and applicable guidance, including the findings and completed work that support the current release decision.

03

Verify charging with the actual setup

The charging-equipment review should identify the car, connection and any supplied accessory. Ask for an appropriate observed session where it forms part of the agreed PDI. A charger or cable shown beside the car is not evidence that the proposed combination has been verified or will suit the destination.

Record the result and any limitations rather than promising the same charging speed everywhere. A charging observation is one delivery check, not a comprehensive battery-health guarantee. If a concern arises, let the qualified provider identify the next assessment and keep it pending until the agreed evidence is available.

04

Inspect the delivered appearance and functions

Request dated exterior and interior photographs of the selected car, with disclosed damage or repair recorded. Model reference images cannot establish this vehicle’s condition. If preparation involves paintwork or added equipment, obtain the agreed scope and completion evidence rather than allowing new-stock wording to conceal the work.

For required connectivity, the phone and language checklist makes the demonstration specific. Check other mandatory functions individually as well. An announcement showing a well-equipped model does not establish every feature on the offered version, and a generic PDI tick should not imply successful overseas online-service access.

05

Read the completed PDI record

Ask who performed the inspection, when it occurred and which vehicle it covers. Request findings, corrections and the final conclusion. A blank checklist or a promise that inspection can be arranged is not completed evidence. The dealer should be able to distinguish satisfactory items from work still awaiting attention.

Where a specialist review is required, identify the provider and the evidence expected after completion. If the car changes state through further repair, storage or transport, ask which checks need refreshing. The accepted record should describe the vehicle being released rather than relying on an earlier satisfactory result without context.

If a low-voltage warning or previous assistance is reported, request the auxiliary-battery assessment and completion evidence as a separate preparation item. A charged traction battery does not close that question.

06

Reconcile keys and supplied items

List the keys, charging items, adapters, manuals and accessories included in the final offer. Check the physical set against photographs and the commercial description. An item used for a demonstration may belong to the seller and should not be assumed included without confirmation.

Agree legitimate account and personal-data handling where relevant, without exchanging private credentials as a substitute for the proper process. Record anything travelling separately and the party responsible for it. A clear supplied-items list helps the receiving dealer reproduce demonstrated functions and resolve a missing-item question without ambiguity.

07

Close the offer against release evidence

Tell Panda the destination, quantity, accepted versions and mandatory new-car status. State whether charging verification or a particular PDI outcome is required before acceptance. If used alternatives are welcome, ask for separately described candidates so different condition routes do not become one ambiguous price.

Before release, reconcile the final quotation, work record and selected vehicle. A replacement candidate needs its own status and delivery review even if the trim name matches. The useful new-stock file explains identity, condition, equipment and responsibilities; it should not rely solely on the word new to resolve every outstanding question.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Bring the requirement into your enquiry.

Include your destination, quantity, new-or-used preference and the points that determine acceptance. Panda can discuss suitable sourcing requirements; availability and final terms need separate confirmation.
